About MyEbikeFinder
Independent help for choosing the right e-bike.
Buying an e-bike is confusing. There are hundreds of models, a long list of technical terms (Class 1, 2, and 3, hub and mid-drive motors, torque and cadence sensors), and prices from a few hundred dollars to several thousand. Most shopping tools only recommend one brand’s bikes. MyEbikeFinder was built to do something different: ask how you’ll actually ride, then match you with bikes from many brands that genuinely fit.
Who’s behind it
MyEbikeFinder was created by Mark Sekula, a marketing professional in the technology industry based in the greater Philadelphia area, with more than 20 years of experience helping people make sense of complex technology purchases. Mark has a passion for e-bikes and wants to help others with their decision process. To that end, this tool compares e-bikes on the specifications that matter for real riding, such as range, weight, fit, and motor type, rather than marketing claims.
Video reviews and buying guides are on the way, so you can see bikes in action before you decide.
How the finder works
- You tell us how you’ll ride. Budget, riding style, terrain, height, experience, storage, and must-haves like folding or carrying a passenger.
- We score every bike in our catalog against your answers and show the best matches, with plain-language reasons each one fits and anything to keep in mind.
- You compare and decide. Check up to four bikes side by side, then visit the brand’s site to buy.
Our promise on rankings
Specifications come from each brand’s own website and are checked regularly, but prices and models change often, so always confirm details with the brand before you buy.
MyEbikeFinder is free to use. We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
